I can run!!

What a wonderful thing to hear this morning when I woke up! So many have been praying for Carter to be healed and he is doing so well! I got a birth announcement today from my sweet friend and it had the verse "This is the Lord's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes!" Psalms 118:23 This verse describes the way we are feeling, so thankful that God is healing Carter's foot. He has taken care of us through a tough time and we cannot be happier that Carter is running around playing. I am amazed at how Carter has dealt with it all. Just a list of what he has been through: 12 days in the hospital, surgery on his foot, 8 stitches, 2 MRI's, 4 weeks of IV antibiotics, PICC line, EKG, Blood work every week, and IV medicine every 8 hours...we are hoping he will never be scared of a shot again! We hope to have the PICC line removed on Wednesday and then do oral antibiotics for a couple more weeks! He is SO ready to go swimming so hopefully that can happen soon. Thanks for all the prayers and sweet notes. Please continue to pray for his foot and for the removal of the PICC line to be easy! Thanks!
