At the hotel

Playing "hotel"! They take their babies to the hotel to go swimming and sleep. Averi has to have those shades on along with her phone and purse. Carter always has the babies. So cute!

Life can't get much better than boot scootin', two-steppin', cotton-eyed joein' with your friends! When you grow up in a small town...that's what you do on Friday night...find a barn, turn on some music, and dance! We went to Oplin with friends to have fun and celebrate Jen's 30th. Fun times! Sorry, I didn't get any pics of Adam throwing me over his shoulder, through his legs and holding me with one hand!

A tent for Raider

Raider might be the luckiest dog in all the world! She is loved! She might not be able to see or hear but she doesn't care. Carter built the two of them a "tent" to sleep under in the playroom. It was complete with a pillow, small blanket, plate of meat, and a heater just for Raider.

Fashion tips...

Fashion tips from a 3 year old:
#1...it has to spin. I will not wear it unless it spins.
#2...my shoes must match my bike. Blue boots cannot be worn while riding a pink bike.
#3...a bow must be worn.
#4...princess shoes must be worn to bed.
#5...shoes must be worn on the wrong feet because I like them that way.

I know this too shall pass! And just because she thinks all these things doesn't mean they happen. But that's when the tears begin! And I also know...some of this is my fault. At least #3..I love the bows!

Sweet dreams

I wish..I wish...I wish I could sleep this well! Adam can fall asleep anywhere, anytime. His head hits the pillow and he is OUT. Me on the other hand, I could stay awake through anything. I have to clear my head before I go to sleep. Watch a little tv. etc. He has to have 8 hours + of sleep. I'm good with about 6. Thankfully, opposites attract!

Let's go ride a bike

Almost...so close...just about to have it...whoaa...Carter is about to be riding a bike! Whoo hoo!!

Sweet friends

There is nothing like good friends...the kind you can not see for years and pick right back up. The four of us Steph, Karen, Shelby, and I alwent to Tech together. I love how God makes paths cross, it's amazing! We all were single and broken-hearted together and then we all got married within one month of each other. I still remember meeting for breakfast with our calendars trying to figure out all the showers, luncheons, and rehearsals so we wouldn't miss anything. Shelby just returned back to Texas after living in California for awhile. These are her sweet twins...Will and Reece. This was our first time to meet them. So much fun!! They are adorable! Hopefully now that they are back in Texas, the girl weekends can begin!

First Trophy

Carter got his first trophy! He sleeps with it, KNOWS it's real gold, and likes to polish it with a cloth. It is precious! It was definitely hard earned, he ran lots of yards...I'm a proud mama!

Sweet & Sassy

I can't even believe how different God made boys and girls. I knew it was so but wow...my two are complete everything boy and complete everything girl! I love it!
Averi is growing up! She is Miss Personality. I am not worried about her taking care of herself. She is all pink, princess, loves bows, loves her nails painted, and knows exactly what she wants! She is great to go shopping with, she thinks everything is "SOOO cute". The main dilemas we have right now are picking out something to wear and deciding which toys are going with us for each outing. Here's a few pics of her lately. Keep smiling...sweet girl!

Glasses for Carter

Carter loves glasses! He doesn't need glasses but he wants them and wears them every chance we will let him. After months of wearing these 3D glasses from the movie theater, I ordered him some online with no prescription in them...for $8. The company called to make sure I didn't forget the prescription and said they had never had a request like that but here are the new glasses. He loves them...even while he's sleeping!
