Averi has some hair!!! There's not much...it's kind of a mullet right now.. but I was able to get these tiny pigtails up for a few minutes. I love little pigtails! I can already tell that someone's going to have to give me some girl-hair tutorials.
It has been a great week! We spent most of it outside because of this beautiful weather. I wish it would stay for awhile.
I love the innocence of a child! Carter believes without a doubt whatever we tell him. He scrapped his knee this week and I told him (after lots of medicine and several bandaids) that God would make it well. So before he goes to bed he says, "God PLEASE make my knee better and everyday he wakes up and says, "Mommy look!!! God made my knee even better today!" I love this verse: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

Bowling Mondays

Yes, we need our league shirts on for this! We love to go bowling even though we are not that great...that's probably what makes it so much fun! Adam has been improving much faster than I have. It is sad when your 3-year old scores what you do. Maybe I should try the bumpers too! It was priceless to see Averi running down the lane to get the ball. Actually watching Adam slip and slide was even better! Those lanes are SLICK! I guess Bowling Mondays will last until Softball Mondays start back. Fun times!

Little Miss Averi was too cute at the park today! I love this age! So curious and so much fun! She loved playing peek-a-boo through the little tunnels.

Addict

I cannot believe what an addict blogger I have become! Our computer was dead for the last two weeks and I thought I was going to go crazy! I search google for everything. I kept thinking that I need to check google and oops couldn't do that. A big THANK YOU to Mr. Bobby for the fix!!! I have definitely missed hearing what's happening in everyone's life.

We had a crazy week last week, as usual! We had our first call to poison control! Averi drank part of a Bath-n-Body scent oil bottle. She was just laughing and grabbing Adam's nose as he was frantically trying to talk to the poison control man. In the end, the worst thing that happened is smelling like cinnamon for the next three days.
Then in an attempt to make lunch, Averi crashed a dozen eggs on the floor as Carter walked into the kitchen and said, "I think I stepped in Raider's poop." That is...after he had walked all the way to the kitchen. Thank goodness for tile!!! I can't believe how many times we have said that. In the end, our meatloaf lunch turned into a grilled cheese. Thankfully, grilled cheese is on Adam's top 5 meal list.

We have had lots of prayer requests this week. My friend Courtney is 30 weeks pregnant and started leaking fluid this week. She delivered her first baby at 34 weeks and is in the hospital right now until the baby comes. They are praying that baby Carsyn stays put as long as possible. Please pray for them!
Also, my friend Stephanie's mom, Susan, is starting chemo on Thursday. Her Lymphoma is back for the third time. Please pray for them!
