Looking Back...

I am so happy to be back in the blogging world! I have missed it so much! We got a new computer for Christmas so I am back and running with LOTS of memory for LOTS of pictures. I wanted to put some highlights since I was on here...back in June. I think I'm going to have to put it in pieces so here is #1.

Home Sweet Home

We have been out of town for the last month...it has been so much fun but I do feel like a brat! We started with a trip to Dallas, Six Flags, Ranger game, visiting Allen and Carrie..great times. From there we went to our college friends weekend in Salado. Then Adam and I spent a week in Washington DC. Last, I left the kids and Adam and traveled to my family reunion in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Now we are home for the summer! I have so many pictures to share as soon as I finish all these mounds of laundry!

Celebrate!

Today is our 8th anniversary! We both cannot believe 8 years have passed but what a great 8 years it has been! If you go back and count all the years we have been together, it would total 13. We always joke about being high school sweethearts because I was Adam's high school sweetheart but he was not mine. :) Just because I was already in college when we started dating. Then there is the 2 engagements, yes, both to each other! We finally tied the knot and believe that God's timing could not be any more perfect. He truly knows what he was doing when he put the two of us together!
Now 2 kids, several homes, a few jobs, wonderful friends, many great trips, and already a lifetime of memories later we love each other even more. Here's a picture when we got engaged (the second time :) Can't wait to share in all the adventures ahead!

Visits from Papaw

My grandpa, Papaw, sold his house he has lived in for 60 years and moved to our city fairly recently. We have enjoyed having him close to us. He comes to baseball games and other activities and he always brings us ice cream several times a week. As soon as he comes in the door, the kids start saying "Papaw, I'm hungry." He smiles real big and heads to get some ice cream. Here is SOME of the cartons I took out of the freezer so we would have room for more! Times to cherish!
